The Secvest 2WAY wireless outdoor siren kit consists of a compact sounder and the universal module. You can install the siren kit inside or outside a building. Signal transmission from the universal module to the alarm panel is wireless; the universal module and the siren are connected via cable. Alarming is done by the combination siren. In the event of an alarm, the siren produces an extremely loud sound with more than 116 dB sound acoustic pressure. The alarm duration is 3 minutes. In addition to the acoustic alarm a widely visible alarm is produced by the red Xenon flash light (flash frequency 1 Hz). Siren and flash can be controlled separately. The sturdy, weather-resistant housing made of galvanized steel (IP34) is protected against sabotage by a wall contact tamper switch. An emergency battery pack (1200 mAh) is already integrated in the housing. This backup power supply also triggers an alarm in the event of attempted sabotage, e.g. if cables are manipulated. The compact sounder module is powered by 12 V. The power consumption in standby mode is 50 mA, in the event of an alarm 480 mA.
