Practical storage expansion and data storage for PC and recorder systems
The NAS is used to expand the storage capacity for a connected recorder (DVR, NVR, HDVR) or a PC-based system with ABUS VMS software. This permits a scaled increase of the storage capacity of the devices below, or enables backup storage to provide additional data security.
At last, you’ve got more storage space and data security – with up to 4 SATA HDDs, RAID level 0,1,5,10
The NAS offers space for 4 hard drives with up to 2 TB storage capacity. To prevent loss of data, it has a 4-bay RAID which supports RAID level 0,1,5 and 10. If one hard drive fails, another one automatically takes over. This minimises the risk of losing data and the faulty drive can be simply replaced.
