The PIR network camera is a true innovation from ABUS Security-Center, and combines the best aspects of IP-based alarm and video technology. The camera module is comprised of a high-definition 1.0 megapixel CMOS sensor (HD 720p) and an integrated 3,45 mm lens. A PIR motion detector with real alarm selection is also integrated. White light LEDs are activated to effectively illuminate the periphery when motion is detected, or in darkness. The video recording also starts. Alarm reactions can also be implemented here depending on the camera use. There are virtually no limits to the application of this camera - aside from integration in the Secvest IP wireless alarm control panel or IP alarm module, it can also be used as a stand-alone solution in connection with a NAS. Apart from triggering an alarm, e-mails with images attached can be sent simultaneously and the images can be saved on an FTP server. A special advantage is the immediate verification of alarms, making false alarms and incorrect responses a thing of the past. Images are transmitted via LAN or wirelessly via WLAN. Images can be accessed via browser or client software, or remotely using a mobile phone or smartphone. Images can also be called up easily using mobile applications (iPhone, Android). The images are stored either on an inserted SD card or a connected NAS / 4-channel video buffer. This integrated video and alarm solution results in added value for security and the use of connected power in network technology for more intelligent surveillance technology.
