The optical Secvest 2WAY wireless smoke detector is a component of the Secvest 2WAY and is also suitable for the Terxon with a wireless expansion module. It reacts to smoke particles and temperatures that exceed the maximum. These indicators are reliably detected and reported to the wireless alarm control panel. The wireless smoke detector is mounted to the ceiling in the center of a room. The distance to the side wall should be at least 15 cm, the distance to each corner at least 50 cm. Its detection range is 40 m². It is recommended that you have a smoke detector in every hallway, staircase, living room, and bedroom. The optical smoke detector detects smoke particles, which enter its measuring chamber, and reacts if the room temperature exceeds 65° C. Integrated into the alarm system, the wireless smoke detector always occupies a zone that is monitored even when the system is disarmed. In addition to the alarm from the control panel (which is connected to an emergency call center via AWAG or AWUG), the detector's integrated piezo sounder provides an additional alarm with a minimum of 85 dB. With corresponding batteries (9 V block) the wireless smoke detector has a service life of approx. 24 months. The service life varies depending on how often you test the detector's functions. It is recommended that you run the test once a week. The detector signals a weak battery by sounding regular beep tones.
