The outdoor IR VGA WLAN network camera is a VGA network camera that has been specially developed for efficient front door video surveillance. Thanks to protection class IP54, it can also be used in covered outdoor areas without any additional protective housing. It supplies color images with a resolution of up to 640 x 480 pixels. Video data is transmitted wirelessly via WLAN. Full-resolution images are transmitted in real time (25 frames/second). At the same time, video data can be stored in the 4-channel video buffer in the local network through the LAN/WLAN connection on the router. With a 53.1° angle of view, the camera can capture much more than the door area when positioned accordingly. Legally sensitive areas of the image can be hidden using privacy masking. With its high light sensitivity, automatic day/night switching with IR swivel filter, 12 integrated IR LEDs, and image correction functions such as BLC, AGC, or AWB, the camera always delivers perfect recordings in both changing light conditions and darkness.
